What is Parenting After Separation?

  • Parenting After Separation is a mandated six-hour course, given in one session or two three-hour sessions
  • Parenting After Separation helps parents understand how divorce affects them and their children
  • Parenting After Separation teaches couples who are separating how to work together to ensure they meet their children’s health, social, and educational needs, as well as their need for parental involvement, and their need for extracurricular interests
  • Parenting After Separation is offered at no charge to parents

Who facilitates Parenting After Separation sessions:

  • Parenting After Separation is facilitated by trained Psychologists or Social Workers and Lawyers
